For decades, the people of Matebeleland have endured oppression, discrimination, and historical injustices that have left them marginalized in their own land.

The Historical Oppression of Matebeleland and the Struggle for Mthwakazi’s Freedom

Reclaiming Mthwakazi: A Struggle for Justice and Freedom

Britain oppressed Mashonaland  in 1860 and then Matebeleland in 1880 leaving Matebeleland people without a king  and Britain ruled and joined  the  two countries without agreement Matebeleland and Mashonaland to be one country called Rhodesia for 40 years. When PF Zapu  led by Joshua Nkomo defeated Rhodesians soldiers lead by Iran Smith in 1979 the country was called Zimbabwe but was ruled by Robert Mugabe.

Zimbabwe oppressed people of Matebeleland for 40 years. Firstly Mugabe’s 4th brigade army  Zanu pf killed   over 40000 unarmed only Ndebeles, Kalanga and other tribes  in Matebeleland a genocide committed in 1980 to 1986 and after  killing many innocent people calling them dissidents ,on the operation many people were killed including pregnant women, children, elders, young women raped, disappeared, shot and thrown into old mines and homes burnt.

Secondly introduced a false peace agreement called ” Unite Accord “signed between Nkomo and Mugabe in Britain  to stop the killings but  to deceive and continue to oppress Mathebeleland  people by introducing a Apartheid system document called” Shona Grand Plan Document” to oppress Ndebele people. The system that is happening  now in Matebeleland deploying Shona teachers who can not speak local languages to teach children and deploying people from Mashonaland to work in companies living local people jobless and also deploying people from Mashonaland to take land by force from poor local people saying they where given land by there government from Harare etc.

MDC  then enhanced Shona Grand Plan Document in 2004 by introducing a document called “XXX Code Document” to continue discriminating the people of Matebeleland written to destroy all Ndebeles  and all tribes there languages, culture, history, opportunities, rights in Matebeleland and  which Mthwakazi Republic Party has stand up to fight against this system to free Matebeleland. The system, that also says Ndebeles are foreigners in Zimbabwe they must go back to Zululand and they must be denied opportunities  in Zimbabwe and be made second class citizens to make them to go outside the country in look for a better life and suffer in other countries eg. under xenophobic attacks and killed like Elvis Nyathi who was killed is Soweto because he was foreigner in South Africa.

All Matebeleland people Mthwakazi is our home we need to be free as countries like Lesotho, Swaziland, South Africa, Botswana and other countries  not be discriminated and called foreigners at home and in other countries but lets come together and restore our country as it was before Britain joined Matebeleland and Mashonaland. We must stop listening to people who use a evil strategy to divide us using our religions and tribes, surnames because Mzilikazi build Mthwakazi nation accepting all there chiefs and  cultures  and stop believing new false history and lies of distorted history of things that never happened like.eg that says king Lobhengula sold Zimbabwe with sugar and also stop believing negative deceiving lies eg that says Ndebele people are minority in Zimbabwe because our ancestors  come from kwaZulu and we must go back to kwaZulu and leave Matebeleland our home country when we have our traditions ,our chiefs and we have rich resources for us and we can manage Mthwakazi without being oppressed and discriminated by our neighbors of Mashonaland and live peacefully, not fearing the army or anyone harming or crushing us, with freedom of speech and getting all the opportunities we want like other nations in the world.

Mthwakazi was taken political and will be free political so we have to be involved in polities, we do not have to remove Zanu in power or voting in Zimbabwe but joining our political party led by people of Matebeleland Mthwakazi Republic Party and restore our country and borders because no one will fight for us if do not fight for ourselves and to install our king and celebrate our holidays like King Mzilikazi day without anyone stopping us. And we will not only free but also be respected by all countries in the world for restoring our culture and traditions.

If we know where we are coming from and where things went wrong , we will know where we are going and  fix those mistakes that happened and then take the right direction to freedom from oppression.
