Mthwakazi Republic Party (MRP) Embarks on Revolutionary Path
The Mthwakazi Republic Party (MRP) has made a significant shift in its approach, transitioning from a political party to a revolutionary movement. This bold move is aimed at achieving self-determination for the people of Mthwakazi.
In a recent development, the MRP laid off its political Constitution of 2014, replacing it with a transitional constitutional arrangement that speaks to the revolution in 2024. This new transitional constitution provides a framework for the party’s revolutionary structures, including the National Revolutionary Conference, Central Committee, High Command, and the Mthwakazi Revolutionary Guard Corps (MRGC).
The MRGC, introduced as the vanguard of the revolutionary struggle, serves as the party’s revolutionary wing. This development marks a significant milestone in the MRP’s journey towards achieving its revolutionary goals.
Mqondisi Moyo remains at the helm of the revolutionary movement, providing continuity and leadership as the party navigates this new phase. The MRP’s commitment to its revolutionary goals and its ability to adapt to changing circumstances demonstrate its determination to achieve self-determination for the people of Mthwakazi.
The party’s 2nd Revolutionary Conference, held in Bulawayo, was attended by all Mthwakazi provincial representatives, including the South African charter. Despite being privately arranged, the conference saw great attendance and marked a significant step forward in the party’s revolutionary journey.
As the MRP embarks on this new path, it remains committed to discipline and dedication to the struggle. The party’s transitional constitution will guide its processes, providing a framework for its revolutionary structures and activities for the next coming two years.
The MRP’s transition to a revolutionary movement is a significant development in the struggle for self-determination in Mthwakazi. As the party moves forward, it will continue to prioritize the interests of the Mthwakazi people, working tirelessly towards achieving its revolutionary goals.
